Lauren Wallis Hall (b. 1980) is a visual artist whose artistic practice is rooted in the reverence, mindful awareness, and recording of the natural world. Her current work explores the richness and interrelatedeness of the forest floor through small highly-textured paintings of the common lichens found in the wild areas of the Hudson Valley region of New York where she was born and currently lives.
